| ![]() || Saturday, December 05, 2009 || ![]() I think some of us teens today are too caught up with our own little lives. Everything seems to be a problem for us. We should take the time to think and realise that some people out there, do actually have real problems. I'm not saying that the things you're unhappy about are petty. But don't make it seem like the whole world is crashing down on your shoulders and you can hardly breathe. Just take sometime and think. I mean yes, obviously everyone feels crappy now and then, it's inevitable, but so often? All the time? And for god's sake start loving yourself. Trust me, you'll feel much happier, and things around you would seem a hell lot more positive. I do not mean that life's a rainbow and we should be all smiles and make cakes out of rainbows and happiness and yada yada yada. Alot of the unhappiness that we feel, comes from our own negative thinking, that we're not good enough, that we're not this and that and blah blah blah. There's so much that is awesome about us, it's just that we don't acknowledge it, or don't take it in our stride. Bottom line: Cheer up. Everything sucks blah blah yes whatever. But stop seeing every other thing as a hullabaloo. Start having a more positive attitude and things - not everything, but still - will start to seem a lot more better than you thought it could have. And for goodness sake, love yourself first. If not, no one will. It's true. And well if you think no one understands you, then good luck. You're not trying at all. Or enough. You're just wallowing in self pity. On a lighter note, awwwww ain't that baby such a cutieee? =D |
